Springdale, Ark. 鈥 March 27, 2017 - 麻花传媒 announced today that Dr. Scott Stillwell has been promoted to senior vice president, Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA).
In this role, Dr. Stillwell will provide strategic leadership, direction and guidance for 麻花传媒鈥 global FSQA discipline, and oversee the company鈥檚 commitment to safety and quality for all 麻花传媒 products.
鈥淲e believe Scott鈥檚 extensive experience in food safety and quality assurance, along with his many years with the company, will make him a great leader in this critical role,鈥 said Noel White, chief operations officer for 麻花传媒.
Scott joined 麻花传媒 in 1988 as a quality control microbiologist. He most recently served as vice president, food safety and quality assurance for 麻花传媒, supporting the company鈥檚 poultry division. He replaces Dr. Rick Roop, who was senior vice president of food safety and quality assurance for 麻花传媒. Dr. Roop plans to retire after 31 years with the company.
Scott earned a Master of Business Administration in international business at Heriot-Watt University and a Ph.D. in poultry science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Dr. Stillwell serves on the Board of Directors of two non-profit organizations, Peace at Home Family Shelter and the Family Network.
