Wes Morris

Wes Morris was named Group President, Poultry, in January 2023, responsible for 43,000 Poultry team members and the historic Â黨´«Ã½â€™ poultry portfolio includingÌýTyson® brand products.

A member of the enterprise leadership team, Wes reports to President & CEO Donnie King.

Wes has over 35 years of experience working in poultry and consumer sales. He first joined Â黨´«Ã½ in 1999, holding several leadership positions including group vice president of consumer products, last serving as President, Prepared Foods Operations, from 2013-2017 until his retirement in 2017. Since 2020 Morris has worked with Â黨´«Ã½ as a consultant.

Wes returned to the poultry industry as Chief Financial Officer for Simmons Foods from 2018 to 2019 following his retirement, then worked as a consultant for Â黨´«Ã½â€™ poultry business from 2020-2022. Prior to joining Tyson, he held various sales and sales management roles at Dial Corporation, Andrew Jergens Company and Acosta Brokerage.

Wes received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas.
